Monocrystalline Solar Panel

We use high-efficiency Monocrystalline panels, which have a higher efficiency rating over Polycrystalline. Because each cell is composed of a single crystal, the electrons have more room to move, resulting in better energy conversion. While monocrystalline panels can reach efficiencies of over 23%, most polycrystalline models top out below 20%.

LiFePO4 Battery:

We use Lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4 or LFP), which offer many benefits compared to lead-acid batteries and other lithium batteries. Longer life span, no maintenance, extremely safe, lightweight, improved discharge, and charge efficiency are just a few of the benefits.

Unlike Li-ion and Lead-acid batteries, which contain cobalt, lead, and other toxic chemicals that can be hazardous if not disposed of properly, lithium-iron-phosphate batteries are considered more environmentally friendly than lithium-ion batteries as they contain only iron.

MPPT Solar Charge Controller:

We use high-efficiency MPPT instead of a low-cost PWM Controller; MPPT can extract more power from solar panels, especially when the panel operates at varying voltages due to changing sunlight conditions. MPPT finds the “sweet spot” where the solar panel output matches the battery’s charging needs, preventing overcharging or undercharging. MPPT’s maximum conversion efficiency is ideal in intermittent sunny and cloudy conditions as well as cold weather.
